Be Cautious of Unreliable Products:
Avoid products from untested sources that lack proper engineering. Many have no air inlets, leading to engine overheating and potential damage. These products are not designed to safely handle speeds over 200 km/h. Adjustable lifting ducktails, in particular, can create a near 100% airbrake effect, increasing rear downforce and destabilizing the car, resulting in critical handling issues and compromised safety at high speeds.
Installation
Replaces the original el. rear spoiler; the spoiler mechanism should be disassembled.
The original third brake light on top stays in place and continues to operate effectively.
The automatic spoiler lift function must be deactivated, requiring simple coding to a fixed rear spoiler setting, similar to the factory setup for models with the aero-kit with the fixed rear wing.
Note: For models with a factory Aero-Kit and fixed rear wing:
The Aero-Kit rear wing and its mounts are simply replaced with the MOSHAMMER Ducktail. No coding required – installation is straightforward and Plug & Play.
Unless specified otherwise, MOSHAMMER components are typically installed using original screw points and, when needed, secured with a special adhesive.
