We deliver the article primed in satin black, including the necessary mounting material.
The original third brake light from the electrically extendable spoiler remains in use.
Note: For Aero-Kit fixed wing models, the third brake light from the original electrically extendable spoiler models must be used (not included in the delivery).

Installation
Replaces the original electric rear spoiler; the original spoiler mechanism must be disassembled.
The original third brake light at the top remains in place and continues to operate as intended.
The automatic spoiler lift function must be deactivated. Depending on the vehicle configuration, this requires coding to a fixed rear spoiler setting, similar to the factory configuration used on models equipped with the fixed Aero-Kit rear wing.
Attention: For customers who do not wish to carry out coding or do not have access to a workshop that can perform it, MOSHAMMER offers the Active Aero Emulator as a plug-in solution. The module deactivates the automatic spoiler lift function without the need for PIWIS access and prevents warning messages when installing a fixed rear wing or ducktail.

No coding is required for vehicles originally equipped with the Porsche Aero-Kit and fixed rear wing. In this case, the original Aero-Kit rear wing and its mounts are replaced with the MOSHAMMER Ducktail. Installation is straightforward and Plug & Play.
This component is installed using the original mounting points.
Please note: This product is a technical vehicle component intended to be installed by persons with the appropriate technical knowledge, tools and workshop equipment.
Depending on the vehicle configuration, additional work may be required after installation, including vehicle coding as described above. Such installation work, coding, diagnostic work and any other vehicle-specific adjustments are not part of the product itself and are not included in the purchase of the Ducktail.
MOSHAMMER provides installation instructions and, where applicable, coding instructions and technical support to assist with the installation. However, the correct installation, coding and commissioning of the component remain the responsibility of the customer and/or the workshop carrying out the work.
If you or your workshop do not have the necessary technical knowledge, diagnostic equipment or ability to carry out the installation and any required coding correctly, the work must be performed by a suitably qualified specialist workshop.
